The globe scare of the enormous 2019 outbreak of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), was originally reported in Wuhan, China. The World Health Organization (WHO) deemed COVID-19 a Public Health Emergency of International Concern in January 2020. In March 2020, the WHO determined that COVID-19 qualifies as a pandemic.
