The Role of Cleaning Procedure, Infection Control, and Sterilization of Values and Handles in Preventing the Transmission of Infection in Dental Clinic

The dental clinic is a setting where illnesses are spread. Considering that mouth secretions have been the source of the majority of human microbial infections, the occupational risk for disease transmission becomes apparent. Organizations like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention actively advocate using appropriate techniques to control infection since they are successful in preventing microbial pollution and cross-contamination. Due to a lack of knowledge about infection control or a shortage of personnel with the necessary training, the majority of hospitals do not have an infection control program.
